Course Description
The traffic control training is designed to be in compliance with Book 7- Temporary conditions. This course teaches the techniques, equipment, and legal requirements for Traffic Control Persons in a road construction environment; you will learn the types of PPE required as well as the importance of wearing PPE. In addition, you will also learn the following:
- Types of safety equipment
- Slow/Stop hand signals and signs
- Duties of traffic control persons and their supervisors
- Placement of traffic control systems
- Responsibilities and duties of traffic control personnel
