Module 12: Emergency-Level First Aid Certification

First aid training and certification is a requirement of the basic training program for security guards. A medical emergency can be anything from a minor cut to a life threatening accident. During any medical emergency, the victim will be highly excited, and so too will their friends or family. Remember to stay calm and calm everyone involved as soon as possible. Please keep in mind that the information covered in this module of the Online Security Guard Training can’t be construed as the 7 hours of Emergency First Aid with CPR Level C and AED training. The requirement of the first aid portion can only be fulfilled by attending a training with a WSIB first aid training provider like Lifesaver 101. Lifersaver 101 is our preferred choice for first aid training. This course can be taken as a blended program where approximately half of the course is online and the reaming half in class.
